Journeys of the Spirit - Joyful Company of Singers

The Joyful Company of Singers, conducted by Peter Broadbent MBE, return to St Gabriel's on Thursday 19th March at 7pm to perform 'Journeys of the Spirit', with Michael Butterfield Organ, Philippa Davies Flute, Alexandra Loewe Mezzo-soprano and John Holland-Avery Baritone.

The programme offers an evening of choral reflection, including sacred anthems by S.S Wesley to mark the 150th anniversary of his death, the launch by Métier of the CD Uncertain Sea featuring John Casken's choral works with three of them being performed that evening, and Maurice Duruflé's Requiem in its 1948 setting for choir, soloists and organ.
