Today: Parish Pray-ers meet after the 10.30 a.m. Sung Mass to pray for the Mission. Flyers for the Patronal Festival available for distribution. Please tick off your block or road before you deliver them.
Wednesday: Sung Compline and Social, 7.00 p.m., every other Wednesday, especially for ages 18-35, with opportunity to learn Plainsong. Meets this Wednesday, 24th September.
Thursday: Parish Study Group, meets 7.00 p.m., at 30 Warwick Square. All welcome.
Friday: Organ Recital, in celebration of David King’s 30 years at St Gabriel’s, David will give a concert 7.00 p.m., Friday, 26th September.
Patronal Festival: Sunday, 28th September. 10.30 a.m. Sung Mass followed by Parish Barbeque. Tickets: £10, £5 (U.16), Free (Choir) from www.ticketsource.co.uk/st-gabriels-concerts.
Choral Evensong and Benediction 6.00 p.m.. with the Epiphoni Consort. Preacher, Fr David Ackerman, Vicar of St John’s, Kensal Green. Refreshments follow.
Confirmation & Exploring our Faith
We look to begin preparing for confirmation & exploring our Faith in the near future. These are open-ended times with no obligation to go forward to confirmation. If you are interested, see Fr Owen.
Pimlico Musical Foundation
Pimlico Chorus: 7.30 – 9.30 p.m., Wednesdays, in church. Begins Wednesday, 24th September. The Chorus are singing Everyday Wonders: The Girl from Aleppo by Cecilia McDowell. Cost: £40 per term. All welcome.
Sing Out! Pimlico Community Choir: 7 – 8.15 p.m., Mondays, at St Gabriel’s Halls, Churchill Gardens. Begins Monday, 22nd September.
Small Sounds: 9.30 -10.30 a.m., Mondays in the Vestry Hall. For children 0-5 and their parents.
